While speaking with AllOverNaija, Amosun urged the people of his constituency to support his candidature as he is geared towards service to God and humanity, noting that he has what it takes to proffer solutions to some of the sufferings of the people.
He said: “We have a campaign slogan called My People, My Priority ‘ which explains that we are centered around people, we want to look at people’s welfare through legislation”.

On why he decided to pitch his political tent with the newly registered Alliance for New Nigeria, ANN rather than the All Progressives Congress, APC or the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Amosun revealed that he joined the ANN because of its ideology which is about people sensitization rather than what he described as a ‘money-spreeing’ politics.

“There is always a challenge with the big parties because they normally pick candidates based on the Godfathers’ choices or highest bidder which is not ideal for the execution of people oriented projects” He added.

Amosun revealed that although this is his first shot at holding a political office, he had been working with some politicians.
