Popular stand-up comedian, Kenny Blaq, will be making his cinematic debut in the new movie written by Wale Adenuga, ‘Knockout’.
The movie which was directed by Patience Oghre is scheduled for release on April 19.
Speaking on its latest film, Adenuga said the organisation has put the best of its resources in making the film to ensure that cinema lovers are entertained.
It boasts of movie stars like Sola Sobowale, Chiwetalu Agu, Toyin Abraham, Patience Ozokwor (Mama G), Odunlade Adekola and Ngozi Nwosu.
“Knockout” also features Jide Kosoko, Segun Arinze, Desmond Elliot, Hafiz Oyetoro, Ali Nuhu, 9ice, Charles Okocha, Woli Arole, Gbenga Adeyinka, Klint Da Drunk.
The movie tells the story of how news of a boxing competition with a cash prize of $3 million sends a town into a frenzy.
It goes further to explore how the group devised mischievous means to participate eyes on the prize monies.
The clumsy boxer they choose and the crazy characters they meet along the way result in a myriad of mayhem and madness.
Kenny Blaq, born Otolorin Kehinde, trained as a compere at the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).
